We bought the SM sort of by accident, it all started in 2002 when we thought it would be a good idea to go the world Citroen Meeting at Amherst Massachusetts, then it seemed that lots of US based Citroen people were driving across from the west coast so we thought we would join the Seattle people and go in a rental car. Rental car companies didn’t like the idea of a one way rental so we asked Henry Reed who was organising the “Raid” if he knew of any SMs for sale and we ended up with a Canadian delivered car (Euro lights) . Henry who we had never met organised the purchase of the car and had it checked over for us.
